Why I chose to be on exec: Being in this house has pushed me to go outside of my comfort zone and achieve things I wouldn’t have done on my own, and I want to be able to do the same for our entire chapter. All of these women are incredibly driven and compassionate, and I am honored to serve as their Chapter President. I am looking forward to helping Alpha Beta grow as individuals and together as a chapter.
Position: Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards

Fun Facts: She loves lifting up others, coffee, and Jesus, and believes the best potatoes are sweet ones.
Why I chose to be on exec: From my first few weeks in Alpha Chi Omega, I knew I wanted to be on the exec board and lead this empowering group of women. I stayed firm in that choice over the next year because Alpha Chi has been a more influential in my life than I ever imagined an organization could be. These women inspire me everyday to grow and be the strongest woman I can be, and yet they still love me endlessly when I am weak and not my best self. They have set an example for how I want to live my life, support me, and give me so much joy, and I wanted to have an impact on this organization and give back, just as it has given so much to me. I felt that by joining our exec board as VP CRS, I would have a role in assuring that this amazing place continues to give our members positive, memorable experiences like the one that I have had so far; I also knew that with this position and the responsibilities it entails, I would be taking a step forward in the growth that I have gained as a person through.

The reason I chose to be on exec: I am passionate both about working with logistics and numbers and also about my sorority and supporting my sisters. My position allows me to help the entire house and all of its members. I also know I will learn a lot from this experience, especially about myself and how I can deal with whatever obstacles may come my way.

Fun Facts: She loves painting, photography, cooking, baking, concerts/music festivals and spending time with loved ones.
The reason I chose to be on exec: I am able to show why Alpha Chi Omega is so inspiring to the outside world through photography and marketing. I want to use my position to show how unique and involved our sisters are and how we help the community and lift each other to become better every day.

Fun Facts: She enjoys working ahead, helping others, working at her happy place Lakeview Ministries and sharing the Gospel, but her guilty pleasure is watching KUWTK.
The reason I chose to be on exec: I knew from the moment i opened my bid card that i wanted to be that friendly and familiar face that represents alpha chi to the potential new members. I realize that people join people and they are drawn to people who are just like them. I want to show the potential new members how they can fit into our house and how they can be an integral part of this organization of real strong women. This position gives me the opportunity to mold all of my passions of empathy, kindness and compassion to my current sisters, and the potential new members of the alpha beta pledge class of 2019!

The reason you chose exec: I wanted to give back to Alpha Chi Omega because it has given me so much and I am forever grateful for that. It pushes me to learn, grow, and go outside my comfort zone. I want to appreciate this organization because we are all so lucky to be able to have this experience and to be surrounded by such strong and inspiring women who make you want to be the best you can be.

Fun Fact: I enjoy cooking, being outside, learning, singing and dancing, sketching hands, trying all kinds of new things, and listening to different perspectives.
The reason you chose exec: Caring for people is something my life has always revolved around. Once I joined Alpha Chi Omega, I instantly met the most genuine, driven, and compassionate women who lift up each other in ways I had never experienced before. The summer after my freshman year I went to FSCLi camp for a week, and I was amazed again by getting to know and have deep conversations with other people in Greek life, Multicultural Greek life, and Cooperative life. From my love for people and conversations at FSCLi camp, my heart was immediately set toward my position on exec.

Fun Fact: I’m a born and raised Boilermaker. In fact, I went to my first Purdue basketball game when I was only two weeks old.
The reason I chose to on exec: Alpha Chi Omega has allowed me to become a stronger, more driven woman. I feel that serving on exec is the perfect opportunity to give back to an organization that has brought me so many opportunities to grow and so much joy. Serving as New Member Education allows me to help our new members feel at home at AXO and find what they love so much about being in this house.

The reason I chose to be on exec: Alpha Chi Omega offers us such incredible experiences as collegians and beyond, and I want to be able to help my sisters make the most of the opportunities that both our school and sisterhood provide. I believe that a strong sense of self and a value for goal setting are absolutely essential in promoting strong academic performance and I’m so excited to use these platforms to help my sisters be the best students and women that they can be.

Fun Fact: I probably drink more Diet Coke than I do water
The reason you chose exec: Alpha Chi Omega has given me so much, and being on the executive board is a way for me to give back to my chapter. These girls inspire me to grow and be a better person everyday, and I am so thankful to have each and every one of them in my life. I am so happy that I am able to be the voice for such amazing and strong women in the greek community.

Major: Nutrition Science with a minor in Psychology
Fun Facts: I can eat a jar of pickles in one sitting, love the outdoors, enjoy listening to murder podcasts, and spending time with my family and friends.
The reason I chose to run: I believe in being apart of something bigger and better than yourself and Alpha Chi Omega is just that for me. These women mean the world to me, they have pushed me to be the best version of myself and have allowed me to grow into someone I never imagined being. I ran for an exec position because I wanted a chance to give back to my chapter who has provided me with lifelong friendships, allowed me to see new perspectives of life, and enjoy once in a lifetime opportunities.

Fun Fact: I have never broken a bone or gotten a cavity.
The reason you chose exec: I am a firm believer that being part of something greater than yourself does wonders for your mind, body, and soul. In building upon those personal attributes, I think change is a given. When I say change, I don’t mean a slight difference. I mean a mountain moving, life altering, world renewing, positive change. I decided to run for Exec because I wanted to do just that. And I know with all of my heart, gathering this group of real, strong women will bring about the exact change I speak of.

Major: Animal Sciences: Pre-Veterinary Medicine, minoring in Military Science
Fun Facts: She grew up on a dairy farm, started snow skiing when she was 3, and she loves Jesus. She is also in Army ROTC!
The reason you chose exec: Never in my life have I been surrounded by so many women who genuinely care about me and want to see me achieve my goals. Being on exec gives me a unique opportunity to give back to these women who have shown me so much support. This position allows me to utilize my strengths to not only improve operations of the house, but also to encourage our girls that they are capable of achieving their goals and accomplishing whatever they put their minds to.

Reason I chose Exec: I loved this house so much that I wanted to play a bigger role in the recruiting and decision making for the Alpha Beta chapter! This position will help me grow my organizational skills as well as skills like data analysis that are related to my major. As this is the first year we have a VP Recruitment Information, it is exciting to have the opportunity to mold this position into how I believe it will best help the chapter with the help and support of the rest of Exec. I can’t wait to make an impact not only on the current members but also on the wonderful PNMs of 2019.
